Born from the Rivers
We Call Home

North Woods Fly Company started the way most honest things do — with a cast and a conversation. We saw a gap in central Maine: a shop where the people behind the counter actually knew which nymph works under a midge hatch on the Kennebec in October, not just what's on order from the distributor.

Today we're a full-service fly shop in Durham, but we're still that same conversation. Whether you're tying your first nymph or hunting trophy brook trout in the North Woods, we'll give you the same thing: the truth about what works, and the gear to do it right.
